No bad reaction when word is seen or heard. I couldn't handle a caterpillar but can tolerate sight of one at fairly close quarters in garden. Impossible to do so before therapy. Finally got round to dropping you a line to let you know how I got on with my flight to Ireland. As you know I wasn't looking forward to it and I had all sorts of worries as to how I was going to react. Well the good news is that I coped really well. I was relaxed through out the flight and I didn't go through all the anxiety that I was anticipating. I did use the calming techniques that you taught me, along with the self hypnosis and over all I feel I have overcome a huge hurdle in my life. Have now flown twice since therapy. I still do not enjoy flying but can now cope with it. In fact the main challenge now is take off. Descending is now quite fun as I can look out of the window and see views I never thought I would.
